Super Eagles: 21 Players Assemble in Turkey Camp as Lookman, Chukwueze, Adams Arrive Ahead of Training
Nigeria’s Super Eagles have welcomed star forwards Ademola Lookman, Akor Adams, and Samuel Chukwueze to their training camp in Antalya, Turkey, as preparations intensify for upcoming international friendly encounters against Iran and Jordan.
The arrival of the attacking trio has brought the total number of players in camp to 21, with the squad set to commence their first official training session on Wednesday afternoon.
Squad Assembly
The Nigeria Football Federation confirmed that the camp officially opened on Tuesday with several players, including experienced midfield duo Alex Iwobi and Frank Onyeka, arriving early at the Turkish training facility.
Other players currently assembled include Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Emmanuel Fernandez, Yira Sor, Paul Onuachu, Philip Otele, Semi Ajayi, Moses Simon, Francis Uzoho, Bruno Onyemaechi, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Adebayo Adeleye, Chidera Ejuke, Raphael Onyedika, Igoh Ogbu, Maduka Okoye, and Zaidu Sanusi.
Awaiting Final Arrivals
The technical crew is still expecting two key players to join the squad before Wednesday’s opening training session. Fulham defender Calvin Bassey and team captain Wilfred Ndidi are anticipated to arrive shortly to complete the roster.
Fixture Schedule
The Super Eagles are scheduled to face Iran in their opening friendly fixture on Friday, March 27, before taking on Jordan in the second encounter on Tuesday, March 31.
Both matches are designed to provide the coaching staff with valuable opportunities to evaluate player performances and refine tactical approaches ahead of competitive fixtures later in 2026.
