OLAMABORO, Kogi State — The Kogi East Senatorial Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman, popularly known as AAS, has joined residents of Imaja Adupi community in Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State for the commissioning of a motorized borehole donated to the community by Engr. Sunday Peter.

The commissioning ceremony, held on Friday, September 18, 2026, attracted members of the community and other stakeholders who gathered to witness the formal commissioning of the water project.

The motorized borehole is expected to improve access to water for residents of Imaja Adupi, particularly by providing a more reliable source of water for domestic use.

The project was donated by Engr. Sunday Peter as a community intervention aimed at addressing the water needs of residents.

AAS’s presence at the commissioning further brought political attention to the community event as the ADC candidate continues his engagement with communities across Kogi East.

Speaking in support of the senatorial candidate, one of his supporters described AAS as “God’s own project” and expressed the hope that God would guide his political journey.

The supporter said: “AAS is God’s own project. May God Almighty take the lead.”

The commissioning also underscored the role of community-focused interventions in addressing basic infrastructure needs, particularly access to potable water in rural communities.

Residents and community members who attended the event witnessed the formal unveiling of the project and its presentation for use by the people of Imaja Adupi.
