The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Joint Campus Council (JCC), Kogi State Axis, wishes to sincerely appreciate the Kogi State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for taking swift and proactive action to ensure the safety and security of Kogi State indigenes, particularly students of Kogi State origin studying at the University of Jos and Oladele John NIHI.
This timely intervention, coordinated through the Special Adviser on Youth and Student Matters to the Governor, Hon.Dr Oladele John NIHI, demonstrates the administration’s unwavering commitment to the welfare and protection of students and citizens of Kogi State, irrespective of their location.
The evacuation process, which is being effectively coordinated by a dedicated team comprising Hon. Emmanuel Ojodunene, Hon. Ade Iselawa, Hon. Omonu Joshua, Senior Special Assistants to the Governor on Student Affairs, alongside Comr. Adeola Sunday, National President of the (National Association of Kogi State Students) NAKOSS,and NAKOSS Senate president, is highly commendable and reflects strong teamwork and purposeful leadership.
The Chairman, Comr. Ojo Samuel Adeoye, NANS JCC Kogi State Axis, further commended the teamwork, courage, and risks undertaken by the state government and the entire team in ensuring the safety of Nigerian students and Kogi State citizens. He noted that such commitment to students’ welfare strengthens confidence in the present administration’s dedication to youth and educational development.
